BMW’s G01 X3 offers much out of the box, even from the most basic trim. However, the Bavarians have a vast catalog of Genuine accessories that any owner can take advantage of to spruce up their ride. These range from performance to aesthetic mods perfect for the family, an off-road trek, or some spirited driving. All-Weather Cargo Mats and Floor Mats

Whether your X3 is filled with children regularly or not, keeping your carpets clean is likely something you want to do. Carpeted floor mats aren’t the cheapest and can hold a lot of dirt. Lighter ones can even stain if covered in one of many easily accessible liquids. But it never has to be that way with a set of Genuine BMW floor mats.

These all-weather mats, like your carpeted mats, wear the X3 logo, thanks to their Genuine nature. They’re a perfect fit for any G01 X3, slipping into place where the standard mats would go. Do you know BMW doesn’t consider its X-model SUVs? Their term for them is SAV, or Sports Activity Vehicle. Despite the slight difference in name, the X3 is still plenty utilitarian, but you can make it even more so with a Genuine BMW Locking Roof Rack. It adds an easy place to put bulky or long items that wouldn’t otherwise fit within the interior. 

The rack includes the two mounting bars across the top and their locking mounting bases. From there, you can acquire mounts and equipment for whatever you need. Roof boxes for travel or winter sports equipment are some of the more common ones, but you can get attachments for kayaks, bicycles, and plenty of other outdoor activities. Front and Rear Mud Flaps

Road grime can easily damage your paint if you drive often enough. The millions of micro impacts that bits of sand, rubber, and bugs can take the shine away. Proper car care is enough to counter that wear, but installing a set of Genuine BMW mud flaps would prevent some of it before it happens.

The G01 X3 M40i is the perfect blend of performance and comfort for an everyday driver. There were many ways to specify one of those models when ordering new, so you might not be able to find your perfect specification when looking at used models. Luckily, BMW offers a lot of the optional trim, like this blacked-out badge kit, to all owners for a quick retro fit. 

BMW’s classically shiny badges and trim stand out against any paint color, but they’re not everyone’s cup of tea. As such, there’s an option for black badges and trim, which you can install retroactively. The badges are incredibly simple to replace, requiring a heat gun and some floss for removal, and a clean paint surface for installation. It’s a great DIY project to personalize your BMW to your taste and an easy way to bring out the innate sporty characteristics in all X3 models. 

X3 M Spoiler Retrofit

While the X3 M is out of reach for many, its looks aren’t. You can give your X3 the M-like looks by simply heading into the BMW Genuine catalog and choosing the right parts. One of the easiest upgrades you can make is retrofitting the X3 M’s rear spoiler onto your G01. BMW offers the X3 M’s rear spoiler to anyone who wants it; now you can get it here. 

The X3 M’s rear spoiler isn’t as gaudy or ostentatious as many features on today’s performance cars can be. Instead, it’s a relatively tame piece that assuredly adds to the look of the G01. The wing comes raw, so you’ll need it professionally painted. Beyond that, it bolts into place of your smaller original spoiler, a process that doesn’t require major tools or mechanical work. There’s also the M Performance "Flow-Through" Spoiler for those looking for a bit more flair. But beware that it’s double the cost, has a more complicated installation, and requires a front bumper lip to balance the aerodynamic change.
