Volvo 122 Parts
The Volvo 122 was first named the Amazon, produced from 1956 to 1970. The Volvo Amazon was introduced to the US as the 122S in April of 1959 at the New York International Auto Show. The year range for the US model 122 was 1960 to 1968. The 122S was available in three model configurations including; 2-door, 4-door and wagon models. FCP Euro has the hard to find Volvo 122 parts you need for your beautiful 122.
The styling of the Volvo 122 was influenced by American cars of the early 1950s and featured signature slight but visible tailfins. The 122 had a B16 engine matted to a 3-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. In 1958 the 122 became the first series introduced car with a three-point safety belt. The 122 was available with M30, M31, M40, M41 transmissions. In 1963 the Borg-Warner three-speed automatic transmission was available for the four door and two door models. Today the Volvo 122 remains a head turning car with distinct visual cues.
