All new turbocharged BMW engines use a direct fuel injection system which directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber. This differs from a port injection system which injects fuel into the intake side of the engine through the intake manifold. Direct injection fuel systems operate at significantly higher pressure than a conventional port injection fuel system. Due to the design, the engine really relies heavily on a properly operating fuel system. If your BMW is suffering from misfires or has a rough idle it can be due to faulty fuel injectors.

BMW has redesigned this fuel injector numerous times to address failure points. This injector is the most recent design. Due to this redesign, it is absolutely vital to inspect the index number on your existing fuel injectors. The index number can be found on the head of the injector after the BMW part number. An example of this is 13537585261-11 where "11" is the index number. Injectors with index 10 and lower have a different calibration and construction than injectors with an index of 11 or higher. Due to this difference, injectors with 10 or lower cannot be mixed with injectors of 11 or higher and should not be installed in the same cylinder bank. FCP Euro highly recommends replacing all fuel injectors at the same time on modified vehicles for the best performance.

Note: When installing new injectors a calibration must be carried out. The adjustment value must be read off the injector before installation and noted. This adjustment value will be needed later on when the calibration is carried out. The injector has a protective cap on the tip of the injector which keeps the tip clean from contaminants and keeps the viton seal compressed. Leave this cap in place just prior to installation as the seal will expand making installation impossible without the special dies to compress the seal. All new injectors will have "13537585261-12" imprinted on them.

Index 12 Injectors
Very expensive and I see they just went up in price again. Was having a misfire issue on a 2009 135i coupe 6MT. After installing these along with a carbon cleaning, my car is good as new and no more misfires!

Index 12 Injectors! Well worth it!!!
My car was in bad shape, misfires and codes all over the place. Realized my car had lower rev injectors despite having injectors replaced under warranty 2x. These fixed my car up very well. First thing I bought from FCP Euro and the beginning of a years long relationship. Definitely start with these if you want your car to be reliable.

Amazing product
Bough these to replace and fix a misfire on N54. Worked like a charm no misfire and three new injectors. Shipping was very fast to Canada, only took 4 days to get to me. Also this is the best price than any other Canadian BMW parts stores even with duties, taxes and conversation rate.

Reman fuel injector
09 BMW 335i … with 63,000 miles… original injector failed so I purchased the remanufactured injectors index 12 installed them then coding with protool for BMW . It’s been over 500 miles no issues so far , I would encourage FCP to work with protool and bring this product to their clients.. the best out there .

love fcp euro they are easy to work with and have great deals backed with lifetime warranty , only thing i wish differently is shipping time or cost of shipping but as far as products go and there support team I've rated them 5 stars.quality parts for half the cost of bmw dealership!

Biting the bullet is hard but 110% worth it
These are expensive as Jesus, but it's worth every penny even without the LRG factored in. Fixed my misfire issues and gave me better performance than what I was experiencing before. Don't forget your retaining clips too! For those scared of install, I did mess up on one injector and forget the clip. I used the slide hammer to get it back out and put the clip on and it was fine, the seal takes about 5-7 minutes to fully inflate once uncapped.

my injectors are 07's , i suspect i have an injector leak on cyl 3 on my 2008 335 i , do i have to change all of them or can i just do 1 or 2 at the most? also for shipping to Canada , do i have to pay customs fees on a certain amount?

Any cylinder bank with injectors index 11 or lower will require the replacement of all the injectors in that cylinder bank. In your case, injectors 1-3 (bank 1) will all need to be replaced. You will likely be charged a duty (tax) on your order. We do not handle this tax and your local customs agency will charge you the correct amount in accordance with your local laws.

We assume you're referring to the retainer that is bolted to the cylinder head and pushes down on the injectors to keep them in place (13537537318 for N54 engines and 13647598000 for N63/S63 engines). If so, these do not require replacement under most circumstances. Note they should have spring tension when they are being bolted to the cylinder head. If there is no spring tension or they appear to be flat vs bowed replacement is required.

You can replace a single injector as long as the index number on the existing injectors is 11 or higher. You will need to physically inspect the injectors to see what index number is on them.

Yes. It is `00% required to code the DME to the calibration numbers on the new injectors. Failure to do so can result in poor engine performance.
