Low pressure supply pipe to high pressure fuel pump, includes low pressure sensor 13537622231

This fuel feed line brings low pressure fuel to the high pressure fuel pump of your N54 powered BMW. In many cases this fuel hose is a required replacement if the low pressure sensor needs to be replaced because the old style low pressure sensor is no longer available and the new low pressure fuel sensor is not compatible with the original line.

Fuel Line

A fuel hose is a flexible tube designed to transport fuel from one component of the fuel system to another, such as from the fuel tank to the fuel pump or from the pump to the engine. Made of rubber, synthetic materials, metal pipes, or reinforced rubber, fuel hoses are built to withstand the pressure, temperature, and chemical exposure that comes with handling fuel. Fuel hoses are essential to the proper functioning of the fuel delivery system and the overall performance of the engine.

Fuel Line Failure Symptoms
  • Fuel Leaks: The most obvious and dangerous sign of a failing fuel hose is a fuel leak. Leaking fuel not only causes performance issues but also poses a significant fire hazard.

Working Fine
When the high-pressure fuel pump on my E92 335i failed, I discovered that the original low-pressure fuel sensor (connected to the pump) is also failure prone. An upgraded sensor is available, but it MUST be replaced along with an upgraded fuel line, so this kit takes care of both. To remove the old fuel line, unscrew the pump side, then gently twist and press the other side of the line into its receptacle to free it, then press the blue plastic clip into the receptacle while gently pulling and twisting the line out of the receptacle. Slide the new line gently into the receptacle, then press it in firmly until it latches with a click.

Replaced after receiving low pressure fuel sensor fault codes. Works as expected. Do NOT re-use the bolt holding the unit to the block like I did....snapped off in the block on re-install. Fortunately, if you do end up breaking that bolt it isn't necessary as the unit is quite rigid with 0 play if installed correctly so I am not too sure why there's a bolt to "Hold" it in place anyways.

I'm sorry, I confused the sensors as this is for fuel. I have another page open for oil pressure. So please delete the previous question about oil pressure. The correct question I wanted to ask for this is, is this the line that doesn't need the adapter for the sensor since this is the new version, correct?

This is the updated fuel feed line, and it already includes a preinstalled pressure sensor.

BMW replaced this line specifically to update to the Bosch sensor from the Sensata sensor which is failure prone. There is no difference in fitment on the engine or on the engine harness. This replacement is designed to be plug and play.
