Soft Brakes
Indy installed full brake kit with Rotors and Pads on 2003 BMW 525. Vibration issues resolved. Brake pedal was soft after install. Google search shows Ceramic pads will change the feel of brakes. Varied reviews - some say feel improves or you get used to it after 300-500 miles. Others say use OEM pads to get back feel.

Brake Kit
Despite my pad thickness being just fine on all four corners, I decided to replace the aged brake equipment with fresh gear due to some squealing and vibration under heavy braking. This all came nicely packaged (best they can with rotors at least). Installed in a couple hours with no issue, and no more noise or vibration under braking. Pretty straight forward, the parts fit and are doing their job.

Zimmerman/Akebono brake kit
I wanted to get rid of the brake dust and these ceramics are just the ticket. Relatively easy job. The Zimmerman rotors in combo provide a good braking experience. My biggest issue was with another part, the wheel speed sensors which I replaced at the same time. The car side female connection tor crumbled in my fingers and I can't find a replacement plug to rewire to. I had to saw off part of the wheel speed sensor to reach the two pins and plug in. Anyway, recommended parts, everything you need is there (the wheel speed sensors are not, purchase separately).

Like OEM but cleaner
No difference on feel at the pedal or in the seat of my pant on my e39 528i, but the wheels stay sooo much cleaner!
