A complete front end control arm kit with lower wishbone, tension struts, ball joints, tie rod assembly's, and sway bar links

If the front end of your X5 is feeling a little loose this kit has everything you need to restore it to like new condition. Over the course of tens of thousands of miles our suspension take a serious beating. Bushings and ball joints wear out and control arms can actually become bent from potholes. If the front end of your X5 just doesn't feel like it used to it may be time to service it.

We recommend replacing all of your components if you have in excess of 80K miles and still have original components. We also encourage that you replace your control arm components if you are experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Popping, clunking, or clicking sounds while traveling over bumps or dips in the road
  • A disconnected feeling between the steering wheel and rear end of the car
  • Vehicle is slow to respond to steering inputs
  • Vehicle wanders on the highway or will not drive straight
  • Vehicle cannot be aligned properly due to play in front suspension
Suspension Control Arm Kit

Control arms are crucial link in a vehicle's suspension connecting the suspension to a vehicle's subframe. These pieces are usually hinged to allow for suspension to travel and articulate as the vehicle rides over obstructions in the road and while the vehicle turns. Many vehicles such as those with independent suspensions have multiple links and feature several connection points and arms to offer better ride quality and comfort.

As bushings and joints in a control arm begin to wear you may notice a looseness feel in your suspension. And while many arms have replaceable and serviceable individual components, many still require the replacement of the entire arm. Below are signs of when a replacement control arm may be needed.

  • Play in suspension joints where these arms meet the subframe and/or knuckle
  • Buckling noise emanating from the suspension
  • Uneven tire wear
  • Inability to properly align vehicle
  • Shutter or vibration coming from the steering wheel at highway speed

Replaced and refreshed the entire feel of the old E53 X5. These were a great improvement to the ride and handling of our BMW. Feels like a new X5 again.

Parts received quickly. Perfect OEM fit from Lemforder. Excellent, all inclusive kit for front suspension. Bought as part of front and rear suspension overhaul. Car feels tight and ride has improved a lot.

2005 BMW X5 4.8is with 168k miles. My indy installed all components in a few hours. The first day: too stiff. I didn't like it. Second day: Four new Continental DW tires. It drives better. The new tires are quiet. Day three: Four wheel alignment. It drives straight. Day four: Suspension settles in. OMG this thing drives like a dream. Is this an X5 or an M3?
