Product Information

Coolant hoses and pipes can fatigue over time. This is expected as they must endure extreme heating and cooling cycles. Rubber can become brittle or dry rot while plastic pipes can develop cracks. Both conditions can result in coolant leaks which can leave you stranded on the side of the road if it's not addressed soon enough.

Most of these issues can be addressed over time as issues are discovered. However, many enthusiasts and repair professionals believe in taking care of all weak points in a single point of time.

This pre-assembled coolant hose and coolant pipe kit comes with everything you will need to restore the cooling system of your BMW. It has been built around CRP Rein hoses and Genuine coolant pipes. Included in this kit is Genuine BMW coolant.

Radiator Coolant Hose Kit

Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. When replacing we also recommend a coolant flush and replacement to remove any possible sludge formed over time.

Recommended - Radiator / heating system Cleaner by Liqui Moly LM2051. Radiator cleaner reliably removes these dangerous deposits and allows the engine to run at the optimum temperature and operational reliability. Use as a preventive measure when performing a radiator hose replacement or coolant flush. Ideal for older systems.

About Rein

Founded in 2007, CRP Automotive introduced the Rein Automotive line of OE-quality replacement parts to the aftermarket. And in just two short years, Rein Automotive has become very popular among both warehouse distributors and professional repair technicians. Rein is the German word for “pure”, and has come to be synonymous with quality in the automotive aftermarket. A true dealer alternative.

The Rein brand includes a growing number of “better than OE” parts for selected applications. These parts address known weaknesses and premature failures of factory parts. Many of these replacement and service solutions have been developed with the help of our Innovation Council, a hand-picked group of experienced professional repair technicians and shop owners throughout North America.

All Rein Automotive OE-quality parts are backed by the CRP Automotive standard, and are backed with a ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification. Each year, CRP Automotive ships thousands of Rein Automotive brand products. And with widespread NAFTA market distribution through strategically placed warehouses in Cranbury, New Jersey and Puebla, Mexico - OE-quality products like Rein Automotive are delivered to customers both faster and more cost-effectively than ever before.

In 2017 Rein partnered with FCP Euro in competing a W204 C300 AER car for the 2017 season. The partnership focused FCP Euro to dive deep into the Rein catalog offering, and hundreds of new products were added and integrated into our catalog. Hundreds of new packages were created not only using the full part pine up of Rein products, but also the entire family of CRP products like Pentosin.

Rein is also an innovative brand, winning numerous trade awards — including multiple new product innovation awards at the annual AAPEX trade show.

Both hard pipes failed
The Rein coolant pipes supplied in the comp kit. Are not great. Upper pipe nipple into the cylinder head is about 1.5 mm too long, it will fit but will crack when the nut is tightened and nipple pushes into the back of the bore. The other hose failed with a 360 radial crack just behind the second O-ring after about a year of daily service. While the rest of the hoses seem to be holding up ok, I'm buying genuine for the hard pipes. For reference I was once ASE certified and am no hack. I like good parts and clean installations. First disappointment in products from FCP.

EVERYTHING you need.
I had a cracked coolant pipe that feeds into the head. I figured get this set and do everything. It all came together and was correct fit. I've been running this set up for a couple years and have had no issues. You have to take the intake off to get to the pipe, and that opens up for everything else in this kit to be installed. Get the set if you are well over 100k and running original pipes, hoses.

'03 BMW 525i Coolant Hose Kit 11531705223KT
This kit was a life saver. Rather than trying to figure out each hose that I needed I got this and did all of them "while I was in there". All pieces seem to be high quality and and now I'm good to go.

Review of comprehensive coolant kit
Loved that I didn’t have to figure out which pieces I need, but the listing of parts included one hose I didn’t need. Two Expansion Tank to Heater Core (CRP-CHE0152P) were included, only needed one .. took me forever to determine that fcpeuro’s list of parts was wrong, no problem with return, don’t know if they’ve fixed the kit contents yet. It would be a big help to us DIYers if an illustration was included with a kit this large showing exactly where each piece fits. I figured it out, but it wouldn’t take much for you guys to come up with an OEMPARTS style illustration. I did have an issue with installation of the hard plastic pipes that necessitate intake manifold removal. I had a static leak with the new pipe installed where the pipe goes into the cylinder head, not discovered until after I had already installed intake. (Note to self, after all the hoses are installed, fill with coolant and check for static leaks before intake manifold install.) I had kinked and apparently rolled the leading oring on the forwardmost pipe, resulting in leak. Ordered new orings for both pipes, lubed them up really well, reinstalled, no leaks. The new orings (from fcpeuro) were almost 1 mm smaller diameter than the ones included with the Febi packaged part, were a much tighter fit on the plastic part.

Questions & Answers

Question Posted by David
The sheer number of hoses causes a bit of anxiety that a mid level DIYer would be able to figure out where they all go! Do you include a diagram indicating position of each hose or we on our own?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
It may look overwhelming but the hoses (most of which have quick disconnect end fittings) can only physically install one way and is pretty self explanatory once everything is apart. Half of the hoses are towards the front of the engine while the other half are more towards the rear. Best recommendation is to take pictures as you take everything apart for reference. BMW diagrams are not all that useful as they generally show installation orientation and ultimately are not as specific as what it would look like installed on the vehicle.
