Product Information

Radiator Coolant Hose

Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. When replacing we also recommend a coolant flush and replacement to remove any possible sludge formed over time.

Recommended - Radiator / heating system cleaner by Liqui Moly LM2051. Radiator cleaner reliably removes dangerous deposits and allows the engine to run at the optimum temperature and operational reliability. Use as a preventive measure when performing a radiator hose replacement or coolant flush. Ideal for older systems.

Radiator Coolant Hose Failure Symptoms
  • Cracking
  • Leaking
  • Swelling
  • Deterioration

About Rein

Founded in 2007, CRP Automotive introduced the Rein Automotive line of OE-quality replacement parts to the aftermarket. And in just two short years, Rein Automotive has become very popular among both warehouse distributors and professional repair technicians. Rein is the German word for “pure”, and has come to be synonymous with quality in the automotive aftermarket. A true dealer alternative.

The Rein brand includes a growing number of “better than OE” parts for selected applications. These parts address known weaknesses and premature failures of factory parts. Many of these replacement and service solutions have been developed with the help of our Innovation Council, a hand-picked group of experienced professional repair technicians and shop owners throughout North America.

All Rein Automotive OE-quality parts are backed by the CRP Automotive standard, and are backed with a ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification. Each year, CRP Automotive ships thousands of Rein Automotive brand products. And with widespread NAFTA market distribution through strategically placed warehouses in Cranbury, New Jersey and Puebla, Mexico - OE-quality products like Rein Automotive are delivered to customers both faster and more cost-effectively than ever before.

In 2017 Rein partnered with FCP Euro in competing a W204 C300 AER car for the 2017 season. The partnership focused FCP Euro to dive deep into the Rein catalog offering, and hundreds of new products were added and integrated into our catalog. Hundreds of new packages were created not only using the full part pine up of Rein products, but also the entire family of CRP products like Pentosin.

Rein is also an innovative brand, winning numerous trade awards — including multiple new product innovation awards at the annual AAPEX trade show.

Poor quality fitment
I did complete cooling system overhaul this hose is way too sloppy on lower radiator connector when engine reaches a normal Temp this hose starts to leak ! Even though i changed the inner oring i thought no biggie nope still leaking the hose connector was too loose . Long story short I got Genuine hoses from the dealership and you can tell the difference the oem part fit right in without issues and not sloppy. Do yourself a favor when upgraded cooling system on Bmw you must use Genuine parts hoses tank sensors etc .

Just no
Quality control is not there. Have to twist it to get the lower connection to align and connect - causes it to leak. Went through 2 hoses with this, stick with genuine.

Failed in 2 years, less than 4,000 Miles
Like everyone else said, this thing fails quick, along with the its accompanying radiator hoses... Buy the genuine BMW parts for this & even the thermostat assembly.

Low Radiator Hose- Doesn't fit right.
Replaced the lower radiator hose on my 1999 528IT with this Rein Hose. It doesn't fit quite right. You kind of have to give the hose a bit of a torque/twist so that it connects on both ends. After a week, I started getting some leaking at the point of connection. Not sure why but it might be because this Rein hose is not sitting flush.

BMW lower radiator coolant hose
the lower radiator hose does not fix straight causing it to leak: it should be rated zero.

Great OEM Replacement
This hose fits perfectly. Be aware that it does not come with the auxiliary fan temperature switch/sensor. (P/N 13621433077) You will have to remove the existing switch from your old hose. When removing the switch you will more than likely damage the o-ring. Be sure to order a new o-ring and replace it or you may find that it will leak coolant. (P/N 091158010)
