Product Information
Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. When replacing we also recommend a coolant flush and replacement to remove any possible sludge formed over time.
Recommended - Radiator / heating system cleaner by Liqui Moly LM2051. Radiator cleaner reliably removes dangerous deposits and allows the engine to run at the optimum temperature and operational reliability. Use as a preventive measure when performing a radiator hose replacement or coolant flush. Ideal for older systems.
Radiator Coolant Hose Failure Symptoms- Cracking

I ordered this part from FCP Euro for my 2015 MK7 GTI, and honestly… I’m a little upset. Not because anything went wrong—quite the opposite. The part showed up in TWO DAYS. Two. Days. What am I supposed to do with that kind of efficiency? I had perfectly good plans to procrastinate this repair until “next weekend,” but no—now I’m out in my driveway on a Sunday, actually fixing my car like a responsible adult. To make matters worse, the part was EXACTLY correct. No guessing, no “close enough,” no emergency trip to the auto parts store mid-install. It just… fit. Immediately. Zero drama. Frankly, I was robbed of my usual “why is this not working” character-building experience. So yeah, if you enjoy delayed shipping, wrong parts, and emotional growth through suffering—this is NOT the place for you.But if you want fast shipping, correct parts, and your car back on the road without losing your sanity… I guess they’re pretty good.
This hose is not the correct hose for certain 16 VW Golf SE, ordered this part as there are multiples of the same part number listed and it listed this part as the correct fitment. After seeing that this part is missing a y hose connection I found that part #VW 5Q0122101GN has the correct fitment with the y hose. This seems to be VIN specific, but this site does not allow you to search vin specific, make sure you are ordering the correct upper hose for a 16 VW Golf SE.
