VW Ignition Coil & Spark Plug Service Kit - Eldor KIT-00627

Your ignition coils provide voltage to support the spark needed to trigger combustion. Common indicators that you may need to replace your ignition coil include engine misfire, poor performance, a flashing check engine light, and/or engine misfire codes stored in your engine's computer (ECU).

With age, just like most components, ignition coils can wear over time and for that reason, we recommend replacing ignition coils at least every 100k miles for peace of mind and optimal performance.

This kit comes with new Eldor OE red top ignition coils, NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs, and it also includes a tube of dielectric grease that protects electrical connections and wiring from moisture, dirt, and corrosion.

Common Symptoms of Ignition Coil Failure:

• Misfiring of engine
• Reduced engine performance
• Trouble with the vehicle starting
• Reduced fuel economy
• Engine backfire
