Most Standard Zimmermann brake rotors are equivalent-quality spare parts, as defined by motor vehicle block exemption regulation KFZ-GVO (EU) no. 330/2010, which are on par with the respective original parts first fitted. Brake rotors in our standard range of wearing parts are manufactured in dimensions and to a material quality specified by automotive manufacturers. Since 2008 Zimmermann has been offering Brake Rotors in a coated version named "Coat Z – anti corrosion". Herewith we follow the demand for a more attractive visual appearance.

Presently, nearly all brake discs and the majority of brake drums are accessible in the coated quality of "Coat Z" or "Coat Z+.
