There are TWO reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90-percent. Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fibre particles as in ALL OTHER pads. Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.This material is a Synthetic Fiber based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer; it brakes better and is quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50-percent dust reduction.Most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation.

The Zimmermann Formula Z brake disc was designed to team simple installation with optimum braking effect under high mechanical and thermal load.

The compound brake disc developed by Zimmermann accommodates the increased demands incurred by engine tuning and optimized chassis structures.

COAT-Z:

• Coat-Z is a protective coating that prevents rust and corrosion, extends rotor life, and improves visual appearance. To improve rust protection during storage and usage, Otto Zimmermann GmbH implements this new Coat-Z technology step by step in its production range. Besides the still optimum function of the brake disc, this coating ensures a consistent attractive appearance.

Formula Z:

• Bake Disc - The composite or compound brake disc named Formula Z is suitable for motorsport applications due to its special design. In contrast to the fully cast-iron brake disc, the friction ring (cast iron) and hub (aluminum alloy) are connected by steel pins. The resulting, floating construction reduces the thermal buffering of the friction ring in the operating temperature state substantially because the friction ring can freely expand under thermal stress (e.g. when braking from high speeds or several consecutive brake applications). The use of aluminum alloy also considerably reduces the unsprung masses on the vehicle.

Material Quality / High Carbon:

• Zimmermann brake discs are usually made of cast iron (with flake graphite) of different qualities; they correspond to the material used for the original spare parts. Therefore, the utilization of such materials (referred to as High Carbon by the competition) has always been a matter of course for Otto Zimmermann.
