how do I know if my 2008 xc90 v8 that seems to be fully loaded has the nivomat rear suspension? it does have the tow hitch.

A simple visual inspection would be enough, the Nivomat shock are very large diameter due to the internal spring, and have an accordion-style bellows on it. You can look at our photos to see. If you are not comfortable ID'ing them yourself, you can send your VIN to customer service and we will take a look.
