This bushing insert fits into the gaps on the stock mount to provide extra reinforcement. The engine will be more resistant to slop and movement resulting in a sporty more responsive power delivery. As such, some extra vibration from the engine will transfer to the chassis.

The OE mount was updated by Volvo and there are two possible styles installed on your vehicle. View the image above and make sure you have the correct insert for the hardware installed on your Volvo.

Powerflex Street Purple and Yellow bushings are 10-30% stiffer than OEM rubber in most applications. Powerflex Racing Black bushings are approx. 80% stiffer than OEM and are denoted by BLK at the end of the part number. Both are designed to last the life of the vehicle. Powerflex products feature a proprietary design that does not need to be re-lubed once installed.
