Torque Specs

Front mounting bolts (M12):

  • 1st step, 65 Nm.
  • 2nd step, 105º

Rear mounting bolt (M14): 

  • 1st step, 105 Nm.
  • 2nd step, 180º
Suspension Control Arm Kit

Control arms are crucial link in a vehicle's suspension connecting the suspension to a vehicle's subframe. These pieces are usually hinged to allow for suspension to travel and articulate as the vehicle rides over obstructions in the road and while the vehicle turns. Many vehicles such as those with independent suspensions have multiple links and feature several connection points and arms to offer better ride quality and comfort.

As bushings and joints in a control arm begin to wear you may notice a looseness feel in your suspension. Good kit
The parts are well made and the bushings a bit more substantial than the OE Volvo parts. With a press it's not too hard to just replace the bushings, but if you don't have one these complete arms can be changed out with about 45-60 minutes per side depending on your experience and access to tools.
