Suspension Control Arm

Control arms are crucial link in a vehicle's suspension connecting the suspension to a vehicle's subframe. These pieces are usually hinged to allow for suspension to travel and articulate as the vehicle rides over obstructions in the road and while the vehicle turns. Many vehicles such as those with independent suspensions have multiple links and feature several connection points and arms to offer better ride quality and comfort.

As bushings and joints in a control arm begin to wear you may notice a looseness feel in your suspension. 2 different XC90s
I installed this on my wife's and my 2006 and 2010 XC90s in the spring. In the past 7 months no issues. My wife asked what was different because she liked the feel of the suspension. I only changed the arms and ball joints. Happy with my purchase and FCP's lifetime warranty.

I can feel the HD
These are great arms. Have them in for over 60k miles in Pennsylvania and got an alignment after I installed them. The Volvo is still driving straight. The bushings feel heavy duty. Better than I thought.

Best quality bang for the buck + better handling
Bought these for the XC90 because Lemforder stopped making complete arms and the Volvo ones were too expensive. More than 2.5 years of potholes, snow, kids and road trips, they are still going strong. The handling is improved over the original. The control arms currently have over 40k miles. Best quality bang for the buck.

Seems like a quality part
As an experiment, I replaced front control arms on one of my XC90's with genuine Volvo and another with lower cost Meyle's ($125 lower cost) at about the same time. It may take a few years to see if there is a difference - it's all in the quality of the rubber.
