Fuel Pump Service Kit

This fuel pump service kit includes the common replacement parts when it comes to the fuel system of a Volvo 850, C70, S70 or V70. As your vehicle starts to age there's a good chance that these items will fail. Its important to be prepared and replace these items at the same time before an immediate repair arises.

Fuel Pump and Strainer Set

A fuel pump and strainer set is a critical assembly in the fuel delivery system that ensures clean, pressurized fuel reaches the engine. The fuel pump draws fuel from the tank and delivers it to the injectors at the correct pressure, while the strainer (or pre-filter) prevents dirt, debris, and contaminants from entering the pump and fuel lines. Together, they maintain efficient combustion, engine performance, and fuel system longevity.

fuel pump 1994 Volvo 850
The pump has been in my car for over a year now and is still running strong. From what I remember, it is a walbro pump in hella packaging. Much louder than the stock pump. Upon installation, I used the new sealing ring, which I would find out, was too thin to maintain a seal, and upon fill up, gas started to leak. Upon putting the old rubber sealing ring back on, the tank sealed just fine and no problems since then. My car is a 1994 Volvo 850.

Unfortunately this replacement pump did not fit inside the housing on my 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo Sedan. In my independent research, these cars came with two different Bosch pumps, the housing for mine just won't fit the replacement pump in this kit. FCP did a day of research on this for me and unfortunately I can not use this kit. I had to buy the full Bosch replacement part which includes the enclosure/housing and pump and wire. The rest of this kit worked perfectly though, the fuel filter is easy to replace, so is the relay and seal. *Maybe* this will work with your Volvo, although can't be sure. FCP of course helped me through this as usual.

Great fit. Everything you need for complete fuel pump system replacement
Replaced fuel pump and fuel pump relay in my Volvo 850R. Fits great. Kit comes with everything you need. It is a pain to remove the lock ring, I used an oil filter wrench for it. Be careful putting on the screen because once its on its hard to get it off. The pump runs fine and can easily be heard from the cabin to make sure its on.

Everything you need...
...and then a little extra. Some work was needed to account for and remove the Bosch which comes from the factory. However this kit is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

Hi, I had purchased the fuel pump from FCP and it works great, until last Thursday. The slide connector melted. I tested the pump itself for continuity, and it passed. So, I just need the slide connector, and one shown here would work nicely. Can I buy it
