Radiator Coolant Hose Kit

Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. When replacing we also recommend a coolant flush and replacement to remove any possible sludge formed over time.

I think Rich makes a valid point. If the Mishimoto hoses do not come with the plastic ends to attach, then you have to transfer ones over from the regular rubber hoses. No plastic ends = no connectivity. The plastic end of the lower radiator hose is especially important because it houses the temp sensor. Removing the metal crimp clamp could be tricky as to not gouge the plastic. & reusing those used plastic ends with the built in o-rings for sealing could be an issue. Meaning - those o-rings could be flattened & not seal well anymore. There might be replacement o-rings for sale for this application. But I don't see a part # anywhere.

Not sure what issue the other review was talking about as this kit does not include any of the quick connect plastic bits but only the Mishi hoses. I used these hoses when I did my cooling system refresh a couple months ago. My only complaint is that the upper hose is too long (by about a centimeter) and needs to be trimmed to fit properly. Shaving the hose down in length is a simple enough fix. Otherwise, the hoses perform exactly as expected and will hopefully far outlast the OEM rubbers. Also, if you are replacing these hoses, I'd suggest replacing the plastic as well (assuming originals are still in place). All the heat cycles won't have done the old plastic any favors. You might as well get that "while I'm in there" part out of the way.
