Description

Contains a highly effective combination of cleaning and treatment additives for all gasoline injection systems such as K, KE, L-Jetronic and similar systems. Removes deposits on injection valves, intake valves, spark plugs and in the combustion chamber and prevents them from reforming. Improves engine running and optimizes the exhaust gas values. Eliminates start problems and rough engine running. Maintains and protects the entire fuel system from wear, deposits and corrosion. Clean engines need less fuel and reduce emissions.

Application

To be added directly into the fuel tank. As a preventive measure, add during each inspection, after repairs on the fuel system and after each Jet-Clean cleaning operation. The product mixes with the fuel automatically. Minimum fuel filling of 7 gal. is requested for optimum product performance. Contents of can sufficient for max. 17.5 gal (70 liters) of fuel.

Worked well to clean the system, although I used it after replacing the fuel filter instead of before. Regardless, had a slight increase in MPG and the vehicle runs smooth.

Seems to work
I add this once a year to my 15 Tiguan and it does seem to keep it running smooth. Have never had an issue with my fuel system.

Maintenance
Used before engine flush with Proline. Seems to cleaned up some carbon/fuelstuffs buildup Make sure to run the car Hard and hot safely to get the full effect. Im weird I also use premium shell gas and throw in a bottle of Speedtec gas atomizer every 2-3 Fuel tank fill ups.

Peace of mind for the fuel system
Just threw some in after a Fuel Pump and Filter replacement for some peace of mind. Clean out the fuel system and hope the injectors and all last many more miles.

Continental Fuel Pump
I didn't expect this fuel pump to be made entirely by Continental, stamped/stickered/packaged with Continental. The Genuine Mini part is far more expensive, were talking about $600 vs $175, and made by a Tier 1 supplier which could even be Continental. The pump works great and got my car back and running from a shudder/power-loss to no-start condition which left me dead on the road.

Liqui Moly does not recommend mixing, although it is possible depending on the additive. Best recourse would be to add them on separate fill-ups.

Does this contain PEA? This product is more expensive than DI Jectron and does about the same effect. Would PEA found in LM22076 be better for both Port and DI injection systems and for deposits in the combustion chamber?

Based on previous answered questions, I see that the noted difference between this product and the lower priced Jetcron additive is that the former is better for engines with carburetors. However, is this formula more powerful than Jetcron for non-carbureted gasoline systems, or are they essentially equal in effectiveness? I was considering using this product at shorter intervals (~5,000 mi.) and the "Complete Gasoline Fuel System cleaner every 25,000 or so miles. I won't bother with the more expensive product if it has no considerable advantage over Jetcron.

Jectron Fuel Injection Cleaner LM2007 is designed to clean intake valves and port injectors. Fuel System Cleaner LM2030 is a general fuel system cleaner designed to eliminate deposits throughout the entire fuel system. DI Jectron Fuel Injection Cleaner LM22076 is designed specifically for direct injection engines. LM2030 is the most comprehensive product in the offering.

Yes, most gas now includes 10% percent ethanol so it should be perfectly fine.
