Product Information

Everything you need to replace your BMW's leaky valley pan

If your BMW has coolant that mysteriously is disappearing and there are no coolant leaks under your car the first place you should look for the culprit is the valley pan located under the intake manifold.

Valley pan leaks are a common maintenance item on high mileage M60/M62/M62TU engines. In order to replace the leaky valley pan you will need to remove the intake manifold and a whole bunch of other pieces. This kit put together in house at FCP is designed to address the most common issues and only includes the highest quality replacement parts.

We also recommend ordering a gallon of BMW coolant to finish off the job, part number 82141467704.

valley pan kit
horrible kit. bought the car with 150k on the clock, now it has 223k. I changed valley pan twice already and it started leaking already, so it will have to be done for the third time. installed by professional shop by the way. lifetime warranty is great but still gotta pay labor and shipping which is very expensive these days so its really useless. very disapoitning especially by the cover itself since its oem bmw part.

Wrong Parts
The valley pay you sent was the wrong part for my 2009 BMW X5. I am returning the parts for a full refunds.

Almost complete
This is a pretty comprehensive kit, the only thing missing are the 4 black plastic clips that go into the valley pan cover. Of course, these could be re-used off your old cover, but being 20 year old plastic, they are likely broken (3 of mine were). Fortunately FCP does sell them, part number is 13711741097. Just kind of unfortunate that they aren't included here and I needed to place a separate order.

Nice Kit
I liked this kit. If I was to buy everything separately, I probably would have left off the bolts to hold it down and reuse the original ones. The leftover factory bolts are a prefect replacement for the CCV diaphragm at the rear of the intake manifold to switch from Torx to normal hex bolts.
