If you're replacing your thermostat &/or water pump on your e46 M3, buy two of these. There's a 3 inch long aluminum pipe that connects the thermostat housing to the engine. It takes two of these O-rings. After housing removal, you will see the pipe with one O-ring on the end. You have to pull the pipe out to get to the other O-ring. Pulling by hand is all you need. No tools necessary. Just pull on it & it will come out. Just be careful when you reinstall the pipe because with the tight tolerance fit, some of the O-ring wants to pop out! It took 5 gentle attempts to get it back in correctly.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
