Product Information

Radiator Coolant Hose

Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. When replacing we also recommend a coolant flush and replacement to remove any possible sludge formed over time.

Recommended - Radiator / heating system cleaner by Liqui Moly LM2051. Radiator cleaner reliably removes dangerous deposits and allows the engine to run at the optimum temperature and operational reliability. Use as a preventive measure when performing a radiator hose replacement or coolant flush. Ideal for older systems.

Radiator Coolant Hose Failure Symptoms
  • Cracking
  • Leaking
  • Swelling
  • Deterioration

About Rein

Founded in 2007, CRP Automotive introduced the Rein Automotive line of OE-quality replacement parts to the aftermarket. And in just two short years, Rein Automotive has become very popular among both warehouse distributors and professional repair technicians. Rein is the German word for “pure”, and has come to be synonymous with quality in the automotive aftermarket. A true dealer alternative.

The Rein brand includes a growing number of “better than OE” parts for selected applications. These parts address known weaknesses and premature failures of factory parts. Many of these replacement and service solutions have been developed with the help of our Innovation Council, a hand-picked group of experienced professional repair technicians and shop owners throughout North America.

All Rein Automotive OE-quality parts are backed by the CRP Automotive standard, and are backed with a ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification. Each year, CRP Automotive ships thousands of Rein Automotive brand products. And with widespread NAFTA market distribution through strategically placed warehouses in Cranbury, New Jersey and Puebla, Mexico - OE-quality products like Rein Automotive are delivered to customers both faster and more cost-effectively than ever before.

In 2017 Rein partnered with FCP Euro in competing a W204 C300 AER car for the 2017 season. The partnership focused FCP Euro to dive deep into the Rein catalog offering, and hundreds of new products were added and integrated into our catalog. Hundreds of new packages were created not only using the full part pine up of Rein products, but also the entire family of CRP products like Pentosin.

Rein is also an innovative brand, winning numerous trade awards — including multiple new product innovation awards at the annual AAPEX trade show.

DIY tips
Just a tip. When installing these types of hoses just be aware that the metal clips are to be FULLY PUSHED IN when joining to the mating component. CLIPS ARE ONLY TO BE PULLED OUT FOR REMOVAL OF HOSE !!! It will take a good bit of muscle to fully seat them but that's what is required, particularly the larger hoses. You should hear a satisfying snap/click when they fully seat, give a good tug on both ends and that confirms that you are locked on and good to go. DO NOT push clips down after you think that hose is seated . This is not the correct procedure. You may or may not be fully seated. THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE THAT MANY MAKE WHEN INSTALLING THESE HOSES !!! Don’t do it ! You may know that the hoses like many other components are designed to quickly snap together during the original assembly to speed up the assembly with as few tools as possible and reduce labor costs. It’s built into everything they do via the engineering. These hoses are designed to SNAP ON with a confirming click for locking into place. You don’t want a coolant catastrophe on these sensitive engines. They are unforgiving !
