Any reviews here about excessive brake dust are absolutely correct. These pads are horrible. I wash and polish my wheels everyday now because of these pads. Save up a few extra bucks and put money towards a more durable higher quality center pads. These pads are not worth the headache and shouldn't even be offered on FCP Euro as they fall below the Quality I've come to expect from these fine folks.
These brakes lasted only 2 years after light usage (15,000 miles). Save your money.
Like other reviewers have said, these pads are quiet and work well, but the brake dust is ridiculous. Practically turns my wheels brown in the matter of a week. Would not recommend unless you like to clean your wheels often.
Terrible pads wear super fast and produces a ton of dust.
I don't submit reviews very often, but I feel I owe every potential buyer my two cents on these pads.
First, the good: Straightforward install and fairly quiet
The not so good: Wow did these things put out a ton of brake dust! I barely had time to admire the wheels after I washed the car because they'd be covered in brake dust so fast. Also, and perhaps more important to their true function, I barely got 30k miles on this set of pads after getting over 80k on the original OEM pads.
I've replaced these with the Akebonos, which are better in every respect and put out almost no brake dust- skip these and go with Akebono.
Good grip. It is going to be very difficult to keep the rims clean from brake dust generated by these pads.
Semi metallic so they grip great. Slightly dusty.
