WARNING: Proposition 65 informationLet's face it, brakes pads hands down are the most important components of our vehicle. Our brake pads allow us to stop our vehicles with a simple push of a brake pedal. Unfortunately they don't last forever and are considered to be a major wear item which must be replaced before they completely wear out and damage the brake rotor costing you more in repairs. Brake pads can be made of several materials such as a semi-metallic compound, ceramic compound, or organic. Brake pads are suggested to be checked frequently during oil changes or routine services for wear to ensure you have at least the minimum pad thickness as stated by the car manufacturer.
Disc Brake Pad Set Failure Symptoms- Pulsating
- Grinding
- Squeaking
- Rotor Glazing
- Rotor Hot spots
- A noticeable lip on the rotors outer edge.

The only complain is the initial bite are not as aggressive as my previous pad, otherwise they are very smooth and no brake dust.
Also don't get me wrong, they work and they will stop the car. For behind stage 2, I think I would had prefer to order the EBC red stuff but they also cost double the price and no sensor.
The akebono pads are good pads with great stopping power however it took a while before I stopped hearing that annoying squeal this was the second time I had that issue with this brand , and even now it still does it from time to time so I would have to give them 3 stars fir that reason. Next time I replace my pads I think I’ll go back to EBC they were the best pads I’ve ever used (red stuff)
Bought these pads going off the reviews, some were good and some were not so good. But at the price, it wasn't a hard decision to make. I'm glad I went with these. They are quiet, low dust, and have good stopping power without locking your wheels up. I live in the country where we have a lot of deer, and there have been a few instances these pads helped slow me down enough to miss the deer crossing the road. They come with the pads and the necessary replacement wear sensors.
Pads fit as advertised. Car stops well with minimal brake dust. I would buy again

In the picture, this shows the brake pad wear sensor. But it does not list it as "included." Do I need to purchase a sensor separately, or is it included with the brake pads?
