Best street pad
Factory pad great for normal street use. A bit dusty and dirty though. No noise, reliable braking.

Squealing
Used these to replace pads on a 2005 X5 e53. Never had any braking noise before but now have an annoying sequel when lightly applying brakes.

E39 brakes
The brakes arrived in a timely manner and fit neatly onto the car with no problems. I will also be buying rear brakes and rotors shortly.

More Brake Dust than Expected
I have these running in the front with Meyle HD rotors. I have a lot more dust than expected.. Does stop very well though!

Brake pads
they fit great and brake good, however brake dust seems higher than usual and have to clean wheels quite often

High quality pads - lasted ~60K miles
I trust Jurid pads. My last Jurid front brake pads for my 2003 X5 lasted ~60K miles. I had some poor experience with less expensive pads for my 2001 330i. I could not get rid of shimmering until I replaced them with Jurid pads. Since then, I will always stick with Jurid pads when possible.

BMW Brake Pad Set

What is the pad material? I installed these on a 2002 BMW 530i and although they don't dust as bad as the original pads they also don't have the same initial bite. I'm starting to get some shake too.

These are semi metallic pads. If you didn't replace your rotors when you installed these new pads it could explain the bite issue and to a degree could result in uneven pad deposits on the rotor surface due to poor bed in performance.
