Easy to install and arrived quickly.
The good: I did a lot of research and initially thought I wanted drilled/slotted rotors for the look on my mk7.5 GTI.
After hearing about how fast the pads wear on slotted rotors, I decided against them. This Zimmerman kit was an easy install and everything was provided to complete the job. Driving up and down the street a few times after install gets the coating off and they have settled in nicely. They’re nice and quiet and feel great. I’m happy with the purchase.
The bad: I wish there was a better way to ship these, because the box I got them in was completely destroyed and busted open. FCP needs to monitor their warehouse folks and not let them ship brake parts (pads/rotors), in the same box as ignition components (coils/plugs). FCP made it right though and let me send back the damaged ignition components.
This kit made it super-easy to do the brakes. The Zimmermann rotors have a nice protective coating that doesn't need to be washed off prior to use, which is a nice touch. These rotors and pads are a nice OEM replacement.
