Audi Carbon Cleaning Service Kit 98030KT2

The most common issue on vehicles with direct injection is carbon build-up on the intake valves. On direct injection vehicles, clean fuel no longer sprays onto the intake valves which leads to carbon deposits building up on the intake valves. Carbon build-up can cause your vehicle to shake when idling, multiple cylinder misfires, check engine light, and affect your MPG! We created the Carbon Cleaning Service Kit so you can get all that gunk off your valves and have your vehicle running 100% again.

This Kit Includes:

• 20 LB Abrasive Pressure Blaster
• 5 LB Walnut Shells Abrasive Blast Media
• 034Motorsport Direct Injection Head Port Cleaning Tool
• Utilizes The BMW Wand
• Crankshaft Socket 1412
• Recommended working pressure of 60-90 psi (max 125 psi)

When performing the carbon cleaning service you will need to remove your vehicle's intake manifold and crank the engine over by hand. Make sure that the intake valve is fully closed before blasting the valve. Also, after the repair is finished, you should remove the coil packs and spark plugs so you can crank the engine over. Doing this step is important to make sure all debris is out of the cylinders before starting your vehicle fully.

Note: you will need to source a shop vacuum and an air compressor for this service kit.
