Volkswagen Door Parts
Volkswagen has become the number one auto industry leader in Germany and third internationally. VW has had three of their vehicles in the top 10-bestseller list and is consistently developing these same vehicles in their modern line up. They rank third in allocating the most funds out of all of their competition to be put toward the research and development of their future. VW has a huge catalog with high quality products, and more specifically, with their door parts and components. If you want to work on your Volkswagen and perform tasks like repairing your window and fixing your door’s stereo speaker, you will first have to take off the door panel. While taking off the door panel on your Volkswagen is not hard, FCP knows first hand it can take some time on order to do it right. First, take the time to ensure you finish this procedure properly. We say this so you do not break any of the clips or door parts by rushing through the steps. Most Volkswagen owners should be able to finish these steps in less than two hours. Open your VW’s driver's side door and lower the window as far as it will go. Place in the edge of a flathead screwdriver between the inner and outer door handle from the backside of the handle. Pull the inner bar out about to create a small space and then use your hands take it off. Do not pull the inner piece from the top because the flathead can mess up the plastic. If you have questions about Volkswagen’s door parts or components, the FCP Euro team and website are here for any of your needs.

Next, lift the rear of the main handle system with your hands. When the clip comes off, lift up the front of the system to unfasten it, then grab the electrical harness connector from the bottom of the handle system. Find the three screws in the back of the core handle system after it is taken off. The screws secure the door panel, so take them off with your screwdriver. Take off the Torx screws along the underside of the interior door panel with a T20 Torx driver. Find and take off the screw on the front edge of your VW’s door panel, next to the driver's foot well. Next, grab the interior door panel from of the six clips securing it, beginning at the underside of your door. Grab the door off of the window seal and push the clip on the door lock cable to glide it away from the door, detaching it.
