Mercedes-Benz 350SL Exhaust Parts

Exhaust systems provide an important back-pressure and management of engine combustion. The exhaust system extends from the exhaust manifold to the various channels that travel to the exhaust pipe chamber itself, which captures all the carbon from the engine before it escapes the car pipe end. The system even includes various sensors that feed information back to the engine computer to indicate if there is insufficient oxygen mix in the engine. At FCP Euro, you can search for all the necessary exhaust parts and compare pricing for both OEM genuine parts, as well as quality aftermarket parts.

About Mercedes Benz 350SL

The Mercedes Benz 350SL was produced from 1971 to 1980. Mercedes Benz USA however released it a year later than the one offered in Europe. This was due in part because it required to have 8 inches of rubber added to each end to comply with U.S. safety regulations. It was available as a 2 door convertible and had an inline 6 cylinder engine. Although the style of this vehicle greatly outweighed the actual performance capability it had, it was an impressive vehicle for its time. Known as a classic the 350SL can still be a roadworthy vehicle if maintained properly.
