A high performance spin off of the Audi A6 luxury sedan bringing a higher level of speed and handling into the mix. The Audi S6 features the torsion based all-wheel drive Quattro system which is a part of all S models. The S6 was first available for the C4 chassis and is still available today as the C7 chassis 2012 & up. The C6 S6 offered an impressive 5.2 liter V10 FSI power plant pumping out 429 hp while matted to a 6-speed ZF tiptronic automatic.The Audi S6 C7 is powered by a twin-turbo V8 with a 7-speed quick shifting S-tronic dual clutch transmission. The engine makes 420 hp and 405 ft lbs of toque while incorporating cylinder deactivation and a stop-start featured boasting improved fuel economy. In 2012 a higher horsepower version of the powerplant makes 520 hp thanks to an improved tune, this version has an 8-speed.
