During the years of the second generation the A8 received additional technology options including adaptive cruise, collision warning, lane assist and 1,000 watt Bang & Olufsen sound system.The third generation D4 Audi A8 featured an upgraded MMI Multi-Media Interface with touch pad, 3D navigation, night vision and stability control to name a few. The third generation of 2010 & up models incorporated the same all aluminum Audi Space frame used on previous models making it the lightest all-wheel drive full size car compared to other competitors in the luxury car segment. The Audi A8 has engine options including the 3.0 TFSI supercharged engine, 4.2 liter V8 and W12 engine.
