Product Information

The DW200 flows 255lph at 40psi and is a popular choice for many high-performance applications which can be fitted with a standard fitment pump. The DW200 features a quiet and reliable turbine impeller that is compatible with pulse width modulated pump drivers. The pump also features an encapsulated armature for compatibility with ethanol-based fuels.

SHOULD HAVE A TUNE FOR THIS, NOT AN OEM REPLACEMENT

Electric Fuel Pump

An electric fuel pump is responsible for pumping fuel from the fuel tank to the engine at the appropriate pressure and flow rate. Electric fuel pumps are typically located inside the fuel tank or mounted externally and are activated by the vehicle’s ignition system. They ensure that fuel is delivered consistently to the engine for combustion, supporting overall engine performance and efficiency.

Electric Fuel Pump Failure Symptoms
  • Difficulty Starting the Engine: If the fuel pump is struggling to deliver fuel, the engine may have trouble starting or may take longer than usual to crank and start
  • Loss of Power: A malfunctioning fuel pump can lead to a loss of engine power, making it difficult to accelerate or maintain speed, especially when climbing hills or carrying heavy loads

DW200 255 LPH In-Tank Fuel Pump With Universal Set
I ended up NOT using this pump. It would have required too much modification of the stock setup. Ended up buying a direct fit replacement pump.

E30
So I got this in replacement of a tre340 . Which I would never recommend the tre340 . Besides the point this pump lasted me about 4 months and it started going out . But while it lasted it was great no issues until recently . I would say it was just defective which happens sometimes with new items . So I’ll replace it but if it goes out again then I’ll say the pump is no good. Also I know it’s not anything causing it to go out since I do have a new tank, lines , injectors and frp . Everything is new .

As a replacement...
This a good pump and will do the job. However it is not a direct fit it will require modification of the basket and the adapter. Cars up and running though.

Can i use this as a replacent for a walboro gss342 255lph?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These are a good replacement for GSS342s and pretty close in flow capacity - the Deatsch delivers just around 20 lph more @ 40psi than the Walboro (roughly 235 @ 40psi vs 255 @ 40psi according to flow charts)

Looking for the replacement lift pump for my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. The engine is a 2.0L with CJAA pump. Is this pump correct? It appears to be a universal pump for both gas and diesel. Is that correct?

This is a universal pump not originally designed for your vehicle. Any fitment will most require modification.
