The second generation of the Audi A3 was designed by Gary Telaak and was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003. In mid-2003 a 2.0 Turbo FSI engine was available making 197 hp along with a 3.2 liter VR6 with 247 hp engine option.The Audi A3 sedan was shown at the 2013 New York Auto Show. This new generation Audi A3 8V chassis features a 1.8 TFSI and 2.0 TDI power plant options. The third generation of the Audi A3 was available for the 2015 US model year with production starting in 2012 in other countries.
