About SONAX

Dating back to as early as 1905, SONAX's brand history started off when the great grandfather of the now owner had extracted siliceous earth which is an extremely fine mineral and was used in many polishes. Just after the war he developed a silver polish and started to market it under the name "Sona". While it was successful it had limited market opportunity so they pursued the idea of creating a car polish to go along with the silver polish. This warranted the name change as you see it today from "Sona" to "Sonax" as the "X" signifies wax which was found in all of their car polishes. Today Sonax is represented in over 80 countries worldwide and continues to specialize in a wide range of products with a responsibility to the environment.

I used the product once so far. Works well. I am able to clean my wheels relatively easier than before. I should have found this product sooner.

Perfect tool for style 380s
My 228i xDrive has the split spoke style 380s from the factory. The Sonax wheel brush is the perfect size to fit in between the Y splits and split spokes and makes cleaning the wheels a quick task. The brush is very soft to the touch and has some give in the shaft so you don't accidentally scratch the wheels. The brush cover is removable and machine washable which makes keeping the brake dust out of the brush convenient. I've also used it on a Mercedes S430 4matic with "phone dial" style wheels and a MKV GTI with "Classix" wheels and it worked very good at cleaning those as well.
