About SONAX
Dating back to as early as 1905, SONAX's brand history started off when the great grandfather of the now owner had extracted siliceous earth which is an extremely fine mineral and was used in many polishes. Just after the war he developed a silver polish and started to market it under the name "Sona". While it was successful it had limited market opportunity so they pursued the idea of creating a car polish to go along with the silver polish. This warranted the name change as you see it today from "Sona" to "Sonax" as the "X" signifies wax which was found in all of their car polishes. Today Sonax is represented in over 80 countries worldwide and continues to specialize in a wide range of products with a responsibility to the environment.

Very happy with my purchase! I ordered multiple items, and they were packaged extremely well. Everything arrived in great condition, and the product works great.

When you need something to wash your sins away, this is it. Absolutely menacing cleaning power. Smells awful and works so well that you'll wonder it's been your whole life. Very expensive for what you get but it's worth every penny if you've got unholy wheels. Buy 2 bottles if you need to clean all 4 wheels.

Used in the two step process. The result is unbelievable great
The rims were scoffed and discolored and now look spanking new.
Won’t remove dents n chips but the result is awesome when you follow the instructions

Gotta say, I love this stuff! Easy to use and works better than anything else that I've tried (and I've tried a lot of them!).

This is the only product I use on any of my wheels. It's soft enough for my '84's Fuchs and harsh enough for my 996tt track wheels...it's awesome.

The cleaner dissolves all of the brake dust and iron deposits off the wheel. Leaves the wheels super clean and shining.

Works like magic, spray it on, wash it off, sparkly clean. Got more than 2 uses out of it when used generously.

It works as good as bad as it smells
Melts dirt and rust stains off of your wheels like magic. Smells horrible, but that goes away fairly quickly. Wheels look like new with very little rubbing. Not cheap but works well.

Did a Great Job on my 18 year old BMW M Parallel wheels
My 2001 740i had 114,000 miles on it when I bought it last month. I had to do new control arms so I decided to take the time to give the M Parallel 18 inch wheels a good cleaning. All 5 wheels had a tremendous build up of brake dust and grime and crud, really ugly stuff. In the ended up doing three applications of the sonax wheel cleaner on all five tires, about two bottles worth and also did a copious amount of scrubbing with a wheel brush and was rewarded with some really beautiful wheels.

Nice product. Tried it on some really caked on brake dust and cut through it nicely.
