VW Turbocharger Boost Control Valve - Vemo 1K0906627B

The Turbocharger Boost Control Solenoid is responsible for controlling the boost pressure produced by the turbocharger via pulse width modulation. Commonly referred to as the N75 valve, they are prone to failure and can wear out over time, especially considering their design in which it's constantly opening and closing.

Diagnosing a broken N75 Valve can be difficult. Typical signs of failure would be that your engine will usually go into limp mode or fail to produce boost pressure. With that said, it's always recommended to make sure you check the hose connections to the valve as well as these hoses can become brittle over time and develop leaks which could be improperly diagnosed as a faulty N75 valve.
