SuperPro's Rear Suspension Bushing Kit combines all of our MQB platform rear suspension bushing upgrades into a single kit.

These cars are phenomenal performance platforms, but the multi-link rear suspension relies on a number of soft rubber bushings that compromise performance as other elements of the suspension and wheel/tire package are upgraded to generate more grip and greater cornering loads. Additionally the earliest MQB cars are getting to the point where the OE rubber bushings are simply wearing out, aged and fatigued to the point where otherwise stock vehicles are finding their performance compromised.

Whether you're restoring the performance of a stock or mildly modified MQB platform VW or Audi or looking to maximize grip and handling in a bigger build; the KIT5388RK gives you a complete rear suspension bushing upgrade in one box.

Suspension Control Arm Bushing Kit

Control arms are links that help connect and stabilize the vehicle's suspension to the subframe of the vehicle. Many vehicle’s, while varying in suspension layout, will have control arms with serviceable bushings and/or joints on either end where they meet the undercarriage or spindle of the vehicle.

Suspension Control Arm Bushing Kit Failure Symptoms

As the rubber on these bushings degrades or cracks they will no longer provide a rigid connection and cause problems in handle and ride quality. Often times to save time and cost it is possible to press out the original worn bushing and press in a replacement instead of replacing the complete control arm. Common failure symptoms of faulty control arms bushings include:

  • Uneven tire wear and inability to align vehicle
  • Poor handling characteristics
  • Loud clunking, metal on metal sounds, suspension buckling
  • Vibration or wobble in the steering wheel
  • Banging sound over bumps
