Product Information
NOTE:
Bilstein B4 OE Replacement dampers are specifically engineered to be the best choice for maintaining the original ride quality of your vehicle, while meeting or exceeding OE standards. These dampers are the ideal choice for the driver looking to restore the original performance and handling of their vehicle, with the added benefit of world-famous Bilstein quality.
A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.
Suspension Strut Assembly Kit Failure Symptoms- Bouncy ride: The most noticeable sign, where the car continues to bounce excessively after hitting a bump
- Nose dive when braking: The front end of the car dips significantly when applying the brakes
- Excessive body roll in corners: The car leans excessively when turning, feeling unstable
- Uneven tire wear: Irregular wear patterns on the tires, often with cupping or scalloping due to inconsistent contact with the road
About Bilstein B4 OE Replacement
Bilstein shocks and strut perform due to their larger piston area and quality manufacturing. Bilstein shocks eliminate dead spots, and deliver extremely responsive valving for superior performance and handling, including consistent, fade-free damping and shorter braking distance. Made only from the highest quality materials, Bilstein shocks reduced valve fatigue means they last much longer than standard stock replacement components. Bilstein Touring (B4): The Bilstein B4 Series provides the same OEM quality and ride stability for the aftermarket. Bilstein uses both monotube and twin-tube technology to give the best in OE replacement driving comfort at a great economical price. This class shock is considered by FCP to be a stock replacement or “one step up” from factory replacement shocks.

Average rating
I just replaced my OEM shocks with a pair of these Bilstein B4's and the ride is much better than when the originals were in good shape. Everything went together easily. I recommend using a chisel to widen the gap on the back of the lower strut base as the specialty tool that attaches to use with a 3/8" ratchet did not open it wide enough. You will getting to fight that 50 pound wheel assembly to slide up the bottom of the shock otherwise.
Definitely not the same quality of manufacturing as stock. Stock shock boots will not fit.
