Windshield Molding

A Windshield Molding is a trim or sealing strip that runs around the edges of a vehicle’s windshield. It is usually made of rubber, plastic, or a combination of both. Its main purpose is to seal, secure, and protect the windshield while giving it a clean, finished look.

Windshield Molding Failure Symptoms
  • Water leaks inside the cabin – rainwater or car wash water dripping onto the dashboard or carpets.
  • Wind noise at higher speeds – whistling or rushing air sounds due to broken or loose seals.
  • Loose or missing trim pieces – molding may detach, flap in the wind, or appear misaligned.
