Coil Spring Lowering Kit

A coil spring lowering kit is a set of specially designed coil springs that replace the original springs on a vehicle to lower its ride height. This modification is often sought by car enthusiasts to improve handling, reduce body roll, and enhance the vehicle’s appearance with a sportier, lower stance. The springs in a lowering kit are typically stiffer than stock springs, which reduces suspension travel and can improve cornering stability.

Key Benefits

Improved Handling: Lowering the center of gravity can reduce body roll and improve handling during cornering, offering a more responsive and stable ride
Enhanced Appearance: A lowered stance can give the vehicle a more aggressive and streamlined look, often popular in sports and custom car cultures.

About HR

In the late 1970’s Mr. Werner Heine (H) and Mr. Heinz Remmen (R) saw the need for an improved street suspension with a strong belief that vehicles could have more control and better handling. Today, every spring produced by H&R comes from the H&R ISO 9001 certified engineering and manufacturing facility in Germany. H&R Sport Springs offer the handling characteristics and aggressive appearance that you’ve been looking for, without the harsh ride characteristics of less-advanced spring systems. H&R Sport Springs feature more control and are engineered for the street, making them comfortable and fun to drive. Over the years, H&R has developed a diverse line of products and suspension applications including four different spring product lines, six different coil over product lines, two different Cup Kit product lines, a sway bar program, the largest wheel spacer and adapter program in the industry, camber adjustment bolts, a lightweight line of I.D. Race Springs, and the ever popular Quick-Safe Wheel Bolt Stud conversions. All of their products are vehicle specific and are produced to enhance handling potential, personal style, and retain vehicle ride comfort.

MK 7.5 GTI H&R Sport Springs

I highly recommend this kit from H&R. My car looks fantastic and stays flat in the corners. Great kit and fairly simple to install all at a satisfying price. FCP Euro was the best option when I was ready to purchase. Best price and the parts shipped fast!
