All of the active features of the factory electronic suspension, along with the factory controls, will be retained with the installation of these dampers. Each damper is rigorously tested for quality that meets or exceeds OE standards and features application specific valve settings with a monotube design to bring out the best handling performance of a vehicle. B6 Performance (DampTronic) dampers will deliver improved safety and handling performance in a package compatible with factory electronic damping control.

Suspension Strut and Shock Absorber Assembly Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. 2019 GTI Autobahn
Initial impression is that these are every bit as comfortable as the OEM setup. I don't make modifications to my car that sacrifice the OEM ride quality even though I do track it fairly often. I paired these with the APR Roll Control springs and OEM strut mounts which ride very well. The down side is that the APR springs contact several areas of the strut spring perch and car body which make noise. Bilstein good. APR bad.

Excellent Upgrade For DCC
I bought this as a replacement for my worn and tired original DCC struts/shocks after 69K miles. Should’ve done this sooner, as these outperform the original units. Every mode now feels like it’s been bumped up one level, so Comfort now feels like how Normal used to, Normal now feels like what Race used to, etc. Very satisfied with this purchase! Thanks
