VW Strut Assembly - Koni Special Active 87451325

Paired a set of these with a mk8 gti se w/o dcc. I'm old and this car was much too rough riding, wishing I had spent the money and gotten a DCC car. Only recently heard of these shocks and decided to take a flier. The car has 55k mi on it and the ride has gotten considerably softer but still too rough for me. After I installed these Koni's the change in ride quality is not night and day but like pre-dawn and dawn. If I had made the switch years ago maybe more of a noticeable change. On small whoops or slight g-outs the car feels like it wants to leave the ground rather than absorb it. Bottoms out easier. Steer-in is a bit softer. The overall ride is better but only slightly. The only night and day difference is when you a hit a sustained patch of bad road, the shock opens up and really really smooths the road out. One off highway expansion gap are a bit less but still there. For track days or 9/10ths driving, I don't know. The shock feels too unpredictable, maybe I will the develop a feel for them after a while. For a daily driver, this is the best option out there.
