Product Information

The purpose of a radiator is to assist in keeping the engine operating at its optimum temperature by helping remove heat from a running engine. If your radiator is leaking or has blockages such that coolant cannot flow, then it's time for a new radiator.

Plastic Tank / Aluminum Core Radiator

The Nissens Radiator flat tube and double-folded fin design offer a significantly better cooling capacity and provide a stronger exterior resisting impacts from stones.

This advanced design helps to prevent damage that would negatively affect the cooling capacity and engine performance.

Features and Benefits:

  • OE-Equivalent.
  • Direct fit for easy installation.
  • OE Style mounting brackets and hose connections.
  • Integrated transmission oil cooler when applicable.
  • Compact and lightweight.
Radiator

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

Radiator Failure Symptoms
  • Overheating
  • Coolant Leak
  • Cracking
  • Bent Fins
  • Clogged Fins caused by debris
