The oil filter housing found on your VW is made of plastic and can crack and leak over time from constant exposure to the elements and heating/cooling cycles of the engine. This kit includes a brand new oil filter housing, hardware, gaskets, coolant, and fresh new oil to ensure a complete replacement.

Engine Oil Filter Housing

Your vehicles of filter cap protects the oil filter cartridge. It is not uncommon for the cap to become damaged from improper tool usage, heat or age. At the first signs of damage replace your oil filter cap to prevent more serious damage to your engine.
