Product Information

The NOx sensor is a crucial component in the emissions system of your Volkswagen TDI. The sensor is responsible for detecting nitrogen oxide levels in the exhaust and sending that data back to the engine control module to make adjustments to the fuel trim in real time. Should the sensor fail, or give faulty incorrect readings, this would send faulty input signals back to the ECU and affect the running condition of the engine.

Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Sensor

A NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) sensor monitors the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in a vehicle's exhaust to help the engine control module (ECM) optimize combustion and emissions systems, including EGR and SCR/DEF operation on diesel vehicles. By providing real-time exhaust data, it helps reduce harmful emissions, maintain fuel efficiency, and ensure the vehicle meets emissions standards.

NOX sensor 2013 W Passat 2.0 TDI
I ordered new NOX sensor to OEM spec but what I received was NOT what was pictured in the order. When ordering they show the exact part number and manufacture with date of manufacture and Germany country of origin. When I received my item it was not made in Germany and no part number matching original. I hope they will honor their lifetime warranty as this part looks cheap aftermarket it won't last. Just very disappointed I didn't get what was advertised and not feeling confident.
