VW Ignition Service Kit - Eldor KIT-01446

Your ignition coils provide voltage to support the spark needed to trigger combustion. Common indicators that you may need to replace your ignition coil include engine misfire, poor performance, a flashing check engine light, and/or engine misfire codes stored in your engine's computer (ECU).

With age, just like most components, ignition coils can wear over time and for that reason, we recommend replacing ignition coils at least every 100k miles for peace of mind and optimal performance.

This kit comes with new Eldor OE ignition coils, NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs, and New STI spark plug wires. Lastly, it also includes a tube of dielectric grease that protects electrical connections and wiring from moisture, dirt, and corrosion.

Common Symptoms of Ignition System Failure:

• Misfiring of engine
• Reduced engine performance
• Trouble with the vehicle starting
• Reduced fuel economy
• Engine backfire

NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs provide high ignitability and longer service life. Dual platinum surfaces ensure a slow wear rate providing stable idle, superior anti-fouling, improved fuel efficiency, and lower emissions. The platinum disc welded to the backside of the ground electrode provides long life, faster starts, and quicker acceleration.
