Powered by hydraulic fluid pressure from the pump, the cylinder extends or retracts to move the roof frame smoothly and evenly. Reliable hydraulic cylinders ensure consistent top operation, weather sealing, and ease of use for the driver and passengers.
Convertible Top Hydraulic Cylinder Failure Symptoms- Slow or uneven movement of the convertible top when opening or closing.
- Hydraulic fluid leaks visible around the cylinder or inside the cabin/trunk.
- Complete top failure, where the roof will not move due to loss of hydraulic pressure.
