Product Information
NOTE:
- Fits halogen headlights only
- OE Interchanges listed below are for the original headlights assemblies that this lens is applicable to.
- This is a lens cover, not an entire headlamp assembly
Having to replace your headlight assembly due to either a crack in the lens or excessive wear beyond repair can be costly. This headlight lens cover is an alternative solution allowing you to replace the lens only and saving you hundreds of dollars.
A headlight lens is a replacement glass or plastic cover that encloses the existing headlight assembly. Over time a headlight lens can crack or yellow with a cloudy appearance after years of being exposed to the elements. The lens is designed to shield the headlight assembly to illuminate the road ahead during low-visibility conditions at night or in bad weather and also makes the vehicle more visible to other drivers. A new clear replacement headlight lens will greatly improve light output and visibility allowing for a safer drive.
Headlight Lens Cover Failure Symptoms- Cracked or pitted lens from road debris
- Hazy or yellow lens reducing light output
- Condensation: Moisture or condensation inside the headlight assembly indicates a failing seal.

The lens quality is good, but the UV coating bottle was dried up. We shall see how they hold up over time.

Question
Posted by a customer
I have a 2012 GTI w/ Bi-Xenon factory headlamp assemblies. When I look at the Genuine VW Bi-Xenon headlamp assembly it gives a link to this lens cover. I'm interested in this lens cover but there is conflicting information on the page about fitment. With my make and model loaded into the site, it says this part fits. But there is a note under the part saying that it only fits halogen headlamps. Any chance you could let me know if this fits my Bi-Xenon units or if there is an option that does?
Answer
(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These only fit the halogen model headlight housings. We do not have replacements for the Bi-Xenon.
