Product Information

Bilstein B8 Performance Plus dampers are a performance upgrade to OE dampers designed to be paired with aftermarket lowering springs. These dampers offer application specific valve settings with a monotube design to bring out the best handling performance of a vehicle. Each damper is rigorously tested for quality that meets or exceeds OE standards. For someone just getting started with installing vehicle upgrades/modifications, what is the difference/advantage to coil-overs vs. changing out shock and springs? I know coil-overs have adjustability but for someone who will never touch the track, any other advantages? Open to suggestions. Thanks, J

Most coilovers systems are also damping adjustable so you could dial it in to the firmness setting you desire as well as the height adjustability as you mentioned. Coilover systems are typical of a more robust construction and allows for maximum tunability compared to a cup kit.
