A wheel arch molding is a protective trim that runs along the edge of the wheel arch above the tires. It is typically made of plastic or rubber and serves both functional and aesthetic purposes. Visually, it gives the vehicle a more finished, rugged, or sporty look and, in some cases, ensures compliance with regulations that require wider tires to be covered.
